Operator Console Major functions of the machine are controlled from the keyboard, mouse, and flat panel or touch-screen monitor (optional) in the Operator's Console. Figure 4 USB Port E-Stop Button Power ON Button Length Bypass OFF/ON Security Bypass OFF/ON Key Switch OFF/ON Mode Switch SETUP/RUN/AS E-Stop Button – Located on the Operator Console, pressing the button will immediately cut power to the blades and apply the air brakes. To reset the E-Stop Button, turn the button clockwise. Perimeter E-Stop Cable – Extended around the saw, pulling the cable in any direction will immediately cut power to the blades and apply the air brakes. To reset the E-Stop Cable, press the "R" Button (Figure 67). Metal Mesh Guards – Located on the infeed and outfeed ends of the saw, they create a barrier between the operator and moving components. Personnel Barrier – Located on the infeed of the saw, this safety feature is designed to keep the operator a safe distance from the automated components of the AutoMill HP. Air Disc Brakes – Located on each saw blade, this safety feature will stop the moving saw blades within seven seconds. Low Air Sensor – Located within the pneumatic system of the AutoMill HP, this safety feature will disable operation if the 80-90 psi requirement is not met.
