Write down the difference between the measured and commanded H2 value. Step 12. Click Calibration on the Main Menu Toolbar. Step 13. Click Head 5 Up/Dn. Step 14. Click Move To on the Axis Calibration Screen. The Command Value Screen will open. Step 15. Using the Blade Height Calibration Table in Appendix A, determine the new calibration value. Step 16. Click the command value box and enter the new calibration value (from the Blade Height Calibration Table) using the keypad. Step 17. Click Enter. Step 18. Click START MOVE on the Command Value Screen. Step 19. Click DONE on the Command Value Screen. Step 20. Click Calibrate on the Axis Calibration Screen. Step 21. Re-cut the board used for Steps 1 to 9, but reduce the OA Len by 3 inches. NOTE Head 5 Height is now calibrated. 4.4.5. Head 5 Height Calibration Step 1. Turn the Key Switch to SETUP (Section 2.3). Step 2. Select SEMI on the Main Menu. Step 3. On the Board Select Menu setup a cut as shown in Figure 47. Figure 48 • Set Angle 1 to 90 • Set Angle 2 to 14 • Set Angle 3 to 90 • Set Height 1 to 0-3-8 • Set Height 2 to 0-1-12 • Set OA Len to 10-0-0 NOTE The remaining length values will calculate automatically. Step 4. Click SETUP on the Board Select Menu. Step 5. On the Board Select Menu press ROTATE to force the saw to make the cut using Head 5. NOTE The AutoMill HP will default to cut this angle with Head 3. For calibration the piece must be rotated to force the saw to make the cut using Head 5. Step 6. Click SETUP on the Run Menu. Step 7. Wait for the saw to move into position and turn the Key Switch to RUN. Step 8. Click AutoStart on the Run Menu. Step 9. Feed one board through the saw. Step 10. Using a carpenter's square measure the height of H2 from the bottom of the board.
