43 AutoMill HP ™ P R O D U C T M A N U A L EN CHANGE THE SETPOINT: 1. Press the SET key for more than 2 seconds to change the setpoint value. 2. The value of the setpoint will be displayed and the "F" LED starts blinking. 3. To change the SET value, press the UP or DOWN arrow key within 15 seconds. 4. To store the new setpoint value, press the SET key again or wait 15 seconds. NOTE The set value is stored even when the procedure is excited by waiting for the time-out to expire. ! CAUTION The setpoint emperature MUST be set back to 95F for normal operation in order to prevent the AC from burning out. Running the AC with deferent temperature will void the warranty. 6. Routine Maintenance ! WARNING Electricity can kill! Prior to performing any work on the AutoMill HP saw, verify that all power to the machine has been turned off following approved lockout/tagout safety procedures (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147). NOTE The Machine Inspection Guide in Appendix F should be used to follow along with this section. Use the Inspection Guide to keep records of the routine maintenance of the AutoMill HP. Write comments or repair work on the back of it for a constant record of the maintenance performed the saw. To preserve the maintenance sheets, make photo copies of them. 6.1. Daily 1. Clean the sawdust off and under the machine and check cable track for debris. 2. Check the operation of all the safety devices. Pull the perimeter safety cable and check that the reset light is illuminated. (Section 2.2). 3. Check all light bulbs in Operator's Control Panel. Replace as required. 4. Check Hold-down and Material Conveyors for squareness. (Section 5.5, 5.6). 5.17. Air Conditioners Maintenance and Adjustment Air conditioners require regular cleaning of the condenser air inlet filter. Remove the air conditioner filter and wash. Dry thoroughly before replacing. THERMAL EDGE Air Filter Treatment Spray in aerosol cans or spray bottle is recommended to enhance air filter efficiency. NOTE Do not use solvents to clean the programmable thermostat. Wipe with mild soap and water. NOTE Restriction to the flow of air over the condenser coil will degrade the performance of the cabinet, cause it to overheat, reduce cooling and can damage the compressor. The overload switch in the compressor may cause the compressor to cycle if the condensing coil pressure becomes too high due to air restriction. A further safety feature is the refrigerant high pressure cut off switch which will stop the compressor if the condensing pressure becomes too high due restricted condenser air flow or some other cause. When the AC unit breaks down or the cabinet overheats because the filter restricts the air flow, a warning message will pop up on the computer screen. Ignoring the warning and continuing to operate the saw will cause the high temperature switch to trip and that will cut the power to the control system in the cabinet that overheated - there will be no second warning. In order for the switch to reset, it must cool down to about 85F, but the thermostat on the AC unit is set at 95F. Cleaning the filter or replacing the AC unit won't be enough to cool the cabinet and allow the switch to reset. Follow the steps below to temporarily change the thermostat setting on the AC Unit: ' Figure 76 SEE THE SETPOINT: 1. Press and immediately release the SET key. The display will show the setpoint value. 2. Press and immediately release the SET key or wait for 15 seconds to display the enclosure temperature again.
