Click or touch AutoStart to start the saw blades, material conveyor, and refuse system. 3.3. SEMI Mode Turn the Mode Switch on the Operator Console (Figure 3) to SETUP. ! CAUTION Confirm that the security bypass and length bypass switches are in the OFF position. The saw can crash if these safety features are disabled. Click or touch SEMI to advance to the Board Select Menu. 3.3.1. Board Select Menu Figure 14 1. Configuration Buttons – Click or touch the figure that is closest to the desired cut. The panel on the left "L" controls the left side of the board. The panel on the right "R" controls the right side of the board. 2. Angle Buttons – Click or touch the angle buttons to open the Angle Input Dialog Box (Figure 14). Angles 1 and 2 are shown on the left side of the board. Angles 3 and 4 are shown on the right side of the board. Figure 15 3. Height Buttons – Click or touch the height buttons to open the Height Input Dialog Box (Figures 13, 15). Height 1 (Figure 14) is the overall height of the lumber. Heights 2 and 3 correspond to the pivot axis heights (Figure 14). Figure 16 4. Length Buttons – Click or touch the length buttons to change the various lengths as defined below: NOTE Only one of the lengths defined below needs to be entered. The AutoMill HP software will automatically calculate the remaining lengths. NOTE The pivot axis heights and lengths can be entered in feet-inches- sixteenths or in decimal inches.
