Mounting bracket Figure 47 6.9 Replacing Safety Scanner Display Unit If it becomes necessary to replace the display unit, programming the new display unit can be avoided, and the same system settings maintained, by transferring the system memory module to the new display unit. The necessary steps to achieve this are below. 1 . Power down the FloorMaster following OSHA- approved lockout/tagout procedures (OSHA REGULATION 29 CFR 1910.147). ! WARNING Electricity can kill. Prior to performing any work on the FloorMaster, verify that all power to the machine has been turned off following OSHA-approved lockout/tagout procedures (OSHA REGULATION 29 CFR 1910.147). 2. Open the electrical cabinet on the gantry and remove the 2 screws holding the display unit to the bracket mounted to the back panel (Figure 44). Back panel mounting bracket Display unit Figure 44
