Regulators Adjustment The clamping regulator is factory set to 40 psi and the lift-out & flip-over regulator is factory set to 80 psi. Adjust clamping regulator so the clamps have just enough force to hold the truss. Too much force can cause problems. The lift-out and flip over regulator should only be adjusted if either is having difficulty lifting trusses out of the pockets. Figure 38 – The Pressure Regulators Step 7 – Loosen the jack bolts on the bearing mounting plate. Step 8 – Tighten the mounting bolts and put everything back together. Continue until optimal pressing is achieved. 4.4. Clamp Rail Roller Guides Adjustment Adjust for wheels wear with adjustment screws. Wheels are adjusted properly when trucks roll freely, and lightly contact the table on both the top and bottom. Figure 35 – Clamp Rail Roller 4.5. Flow Control Valves Flow control valves are provided on the flip over bars and lift-out skate wheel bars to synchronize them. They are located on the base end of the cylinder. By loosening the Jam nut then turning the control screw clockwise slows cylinder speeds, and counterclockwise increases cylinder speed. After adjusting, be sure to tighten the jam nut. Make sure that the flow control valves are harmonized with each other, so the bars work at the same time. Figure 36 – The Flip-Over and the Lift-Out System
