Gantry strains while pressing plates Improper clearance between roller and table top Check for 3-15/16" spacing between roller and table top. Adjust roller height (Section 4.3) Verify that all power to the machine has been turned off following OSHA- approved lockout/tagout procedures Debris on track flange Clean debris from track Lumber thickness variation Check lumber thickness for proper dimension 6.6. Lift-outs or flip-over bars not operating Obstructions, broken welds, worn parts Check for any obstructions, broken/ missing parts or worn parts. Replace worn/broken/missing parts as necessary. Clear any obstructions Verify that all power to the machine has been turned off following OSHA- approved lockout/tagout procedures Air cylinder issues Check cylinder rods for wear, pitting or gouging. Check for worn clevis pins. Replace parts as needed Adjust or replace flow control valves on cylinders (Section 4.5) Improper air pressure Check lift-outs and flip-over bars regulator for 80 psi air pressure (Section 4.6) Air leaks Repair as necessary Caution, high voltage present. Lockout/tagout procedures must be followed. Please call licensed electrician for service Solenoids on air manifold defective Repair or replace as necessary Defective switch heads or contact blocks on pendants Repair or replace as necessary Safety scanner has been tripped Check for obstructions in front of both scanners, clear the obstruction, and reset the scanner system (Section 3) Safety scanner display unit has malfunctioned See Section 6.8 for reading the scanner error code See Section 6.8 for scanner error code condition 6.7. Clamps not operating Improper air pressure Check the clamps regulator for approximately 40 psi air pressure (Section 4.6) Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures Worn/broken wheels on clamp trucks Adjust and replace wheels as necessary (Section 5.2) Air cylinder issues Check cylinder rods for wear, pitting or gouging. Check for worn clevis pins. Replace parts as needed Air leaks Repair as necessary Solenoids on air manifold defective Repair or replace as necessary Caution, high voltage present. Lockout/tagout procedures must be followed. Please call licensed electrician for service Defective switch heads or contact blocks on pendants Repair or replace as necessary Obstructions, broken/missing/worn parts Clear any obstructions causing binding.
