15 FloorMaster P R O D U C T M A N U A L EN 2.3.2. Infeed Control NOTE The FloorMaster has two identical infeed pendants. When the selector switch is in the Group mode, any of the pendants can be used to operate the infeed pocket. When the selector switch is in the Single mode, each pendant operates the half of the infeed pocket where the pendant is located. ! WARNING All personnel must be clear of the table before moving the gantry forward or backward, or pressing the reset button. The infeed pendant controls the infeed clamps, gantry and flip-over arms. The infeed pendant has four buttons, two switches and an emergency stop (Figure 18). Figure 18 – Infeed Pendant Button/ Switch Name Usage 1 LOWER Lowers all flip-over and lift-out arms for Gantry movement. On Infeed pendant only. 2 E-STOP Each pendant has an E-stop button. 3 RESET Each pendant has a reset button. The reset button must be pressed any time an E-stop condition exists. The reset button also must be pressed every time the scanner detects an object. 4 REV Infeed pendants have the gantry control buttons. The REV button will move the gantry backward (to the left when standing beside the infeed pocket) when pushed. The Gantry will only move as long as the button is pushed. 5 FORWARD Infeed pendants have the gantry control buttons. The FORWARD button will move the gantry forward (to the right when standing beside the infeed pocket) when pushed. The Gantry will only move as long as the button is pushed. 6 UP/DOWN This switch on the Infeed pendant will control the flip-over arms. UP direction will raise the arms. Down direction will lower the arms. 7 OPEN/CLOSE This switch on the infeed pendant will control the clamps on the infeed side. OPEN will open the clamps to the center of the table position. CLOSE will close the clamps against the truss being built.
