NESTING OPTIONS Single-Single – Turns on the nesting function for piece junctions where both pieces are single cut Single-Double – Turns on the nesting function for piece junctions where one piece has a single cut and the other is a double cut. Double-Double – Nesting junctions where both pieces are double cut means that the pieces will be separated only by the kerf of the saw blade. This positioning will be superseded by the Double-Spacing entry in Dimensions and Quantities . Single Bevels – Similar to Nest Single-Single. If there are two pieces in the file with single bevels that are identical except one is a front single bevel and the other is a back single bevel, this option will nest the two bevels, so they are both cut with a single pass of the blade. Bottom Chord – Nesting junctions where a single long bottom chord piece may have to be spliced.
