36 ALS 4.0 XE P R O D U C T M A N U A L EN The following describes the function of each button: 1. LIVEDECK FWD – Starts live deck moving to saw 2. LIVEDECK STOP – Stops live deck movement 3. INFEED ROLL CLAMP DOWN – Lowers infeed roll clamp assembly 4. INFEED ROLL CLAMP UP – Raises infeed roll clamp assembly up 5. CLAMP ARM IN – Pulls clamp arm in 6. CLAMP ARM OUT – Extends clamp arm 7. BOARD CLAMP OPEN – Opens clamp jaws 8. BOARD CLAMP CLOSE –Closes clamp jaws 9. LOAD LUMBER FROM LIVEDECK – Perform complete lumber load sequence 10. EJECT LUMBER – Eject any lumber inside of saw 11. STOP ALL – Stop all lumber loading operations 12. EXIT – Leave this dialog 13. TIME DELAY SETUP – Touching this icon will bring up the time delay menu as shown below. Touching Icon 13 will bring the Auto-Infeed Time Delay Setup Menu. From this menu the operator can enter specific time delay settings for the Roller camp up and down, Board clamp and release time, Conveyor on time, Infeed gripper jaw arm in and out time and L1 Home offset as shown below: Figure 55 1. SAVE SETTINGS – Touching this icon will save the time settings. 2. EXIT SE TTINGS – Touching this icon will exit the current screen and brings you back to the Auto-Infeed System manual control screen. This screen allows user to view current Pick List, Current Run List (the actual list of stock fills which are sent to the saw to be cut, and in this exact order), and a new feature, the Graphical View (Figure 53). This is a graphical representation of all of the stock fills for an entire job. The NEXT button can be used to see the following set of stock fills. Figure 53 3.11 Auto Infeed System If the ALS is equipped with the optional Auto Infeed System, the panel panel in Figure 54 will allow control over the system. This panel can be accessed from the home screen and in all modes of operation. Figure 54
