18 FloorMaster P R O D U C T M A N U A L EN Step 13 – Actuate the flip-over bars by turning the switch to "up" on the infeed pendant to transfer the truss into the second pocket. Figure 24 – Actuating the Flip Over Bars Figure 25 – Allow the Truss to Slide against the Calm Figure 26 – Hold Switch in "Up" Position to Flip the Truss Into Pocket 2 Figure 27 – Truss Successfully Transferred to Pocket 2 Step 10 – If joints are tight there isn't deflection in the top chord and the pressure is set correctly, place Alpine WAVE Plate connectors at the joints as required by the design. ! WARNING Do not extend hands, arms, or any part of the body into the machine while the Gantry is running. ! WARNING The operator is responsible for assuring that the work area is clear of people and materials before operating the gantry. Step 11 – Move the gantry head across the full length of the truss and enough distance to clear the emergency safety bars when flipping the truss. For gantry motion, refer to section 3.5.1 Gantry Control (REV / FORWARD Pushbuttons). If the gantry scanners detect an object (person, hammer, or even a plate sticking up more than ¾"(20mm) above the truss): • The gantry will stop • The red light will illuminate on the scanner head that detected the object • The red light will illuminate on the light stack on the gantry electrical enclosure • The liftouts, flip-overs, and clamps will also cease to operate To resume motion, first clear the obstruction, press the scanner reset button (Figure 22a) on the gantry electrical enclosure, and then press the reset button on one of the pendants. Step 12 – Release the infeed clamp by turning the switch to "open". Figure 23 – Plates Pressed in the Infeed Pocket ! WARNING All personnel must be clear of the table before proceeding with step 13.
