Check Tab Error Gateway Offline Fault VC1/VFD wiring Visually check wiring between VFD and VC1. Also check with ohm meter. A qualified electrician can repair any loose or broken wires. Faulty VFD A qualified electrician can temporarily swap wires 6,7,8 on both VFD's. If the error stays in the same puck number then VC1 is faulty. If it moves then the VFD is faulty. A qualified electrician can replace VFD Faulty controller A qualified electrician can replace VC1 controller. 7.5. Puck Won't Move (end of table) Full speed movement into hard at end of table Check puck calibration or check for loose encoder coupling. Take a narrow screw driver and turn the fan on the back of the motor counter clockwise a couple of times to back the puck away from the hard stop. Rehome puck. 7.6. Puck Won't Move (not on end stop) Motor not humming. Faulty wiring shorted wire A qualified electrician can check with ohmmeter the phase to ground resistance. A qualified electrician can find and remove short to ground. Check wiring for damage and motor for burnout. Faulty VFD Try to move puck and watch the VFD's LCD. If numbers increase the drive may be faulty. A qualified electrician can replace VFD Faulty VFD/VC1 wiring Try to move puck and watch the VFD's LCD. If the display number doesn't increase. A qualified electrician can check and fix VC1/VFD wiring. Faulty Controller If no wiring problem found, the controller is faulty. A qualified electrician can replace controller 7.7. Puck Won't Move (not on end stop) Motor humming. Faulty wiring broken wire A qualified electrician can check with ohmmeter the phase to phase resistance. If all three readings aren't similar then check for bad wiring. Mechanical block Check chain, puck, track for debris, damage or other obstruction. Clear block and retry movement. 7.8. Puck Out of Position (small amounts) Needs homing Check calibration line after rehoming. Rehome puck. Loose Encoder Coupling Puck homes ok, but drifts out of position within a day or two. Tighten encoder setscrews. Mechanics changed Puck homes ok, but is always off by the same amount. Call Tech Support for assistance. Chain loose Check chain tension. Section 6.1 Retighten chain if necessary.
