Prior to performing any work on the SpeedSet, verify that all power to the SpeedSet and the gantry has been turned off following OSHA-approved lockout/tagoutr procedures (OSHA REGULATION 29 CFR 1910.147). ! WARNING For electrical problems, a qualified electrician needs to be contacted to identify the source of the problem and correct it. Failure to follow these precautions could result in a serious injury or fatality. Most problems are detected and shown as a warning or error on the check screen. Check Tab Error – Many "Ethernet Disconnected" Circuit breaker tripped or power lost A qualified electrician can check for power and circuit breaker in first red panel. A qualified electrician can reset breaker or restore power to panel. Ethernet cable unclipped or broken A qualified electrician can replace controller check cable between last green panel and first red panel. Use switch links lights. Reinsert or replace Ethernet cable as necessary. Test with a spare cable between panels. Network switch failure Check switch power and link lights. A qualified electrician can replace switch. Bypass panel with Ethernet coupler until part arrives. 7.2. Check Tab Error – Single "Ethernet Disconnected" Ethernet cable unclipped or broken. A qualified electrician can check cable between switch and VC1 controller. Reinsert or replace Ethernet cable. Controller malfunction Test with a known good Ethernet cable. Look for the link light. A qualified electrician can replace controller. 7.3. Check Tab Error "Encoder Unplugged" Faulty connection Check Ethernet connection points at VC1 and on the encoder. A qualified electrician can reinsert connector plug into socket. Check socket for debris. Faulty cable Check for cable breaks or cuts. Replace Ethernet cable. Faulty encoder A qualified electrician can check by plugging known good encoder into Ethernet cable. If error goes away encoder is faulty. A qualified electrician can replace encoder. Then rehome puck. Faulty controller A qualified electrician can check by plugging known good encoder into Ethernet cable. If error remains controller is faulty. A qualified electrician can replace controller.
