EXIT – Close conveyor screen. 5.2.4. Manual Axis Calibration (Overview) This section provides a general overview of the manual calibration process. The principals introduced in this section apply to each calibration process (Angles, I/O, and Carriage). Selecting an axis on the Calibration Menu (Figure 39) will open the Axis Calibration Screen The Axis Calibration Screen will have the same buttons for each axis. However, they may be arranged differently depending on the direction the axis moves during the calibration process. Along with the tiles, there are several other buttons on this screen: 1. HOME SYSTEM – Click this button to run the Homing procedure. 2. E-Stop- Emergency stop. 3. Cancel- Abort machine homing. 4. Conveyor – Click this button to move and time the material conveyor dogs. 5. Save Calibration Data – Calibration data will be save in controller and can be restore if needed. 6. Restore Calibration Data – Restore Saved Calibration data. 7. Saw motors – Click this button to open the saw motor dialogue box (Figure 40). NOTE The homing procedure must be completed before calibration can begin. If the saw has not been homed, click HOME SYSTEM. 5.2.2. Saw Motor Dialogue Box Figure 40 Click MOTORS icon on Figure 39 to open the saw motor dialogue box. Click HEAD 1-5 to manually start a saw blade motor. Click CONV. FWD or CONC. REV to manually start the material conveyor in the forward or reverse direction. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the conveyor speed.
