Troubleshooting 7.1. Motion Control Trouble shooting To troubleshoot a motion control related issue, open SYSTEM STATUS from Main Menu to access current and historical machine errors. Figure 48 Form the System Status use the following tools to diagnose a problem (refer to Figure 48) 1. Error Code – Current axis error code. Any error will have associate error code to help troubleshooting the issue. If any axis has an error, an error code can be read on the Error Code line. To get help with troubleshooting click on troubleshooting guide (see figure 48) 2. Error Log – Click on "ERROR LOG" to open error log contents (Figure 49) The error log saves the following information: (i) Date and time when error occurred (ii) Axis identification and error description. (iii) Error code. Figure 49 3. Troubleshooting Guide – Click on "Troubleshooting guide" to open Troubleshooting Manual (Figure 50) to get help with cause and corrective action base on "error code". The error code can be read directly from the Error Code line in the System Status or form the Error Log. To find information on the specific error code search for the code in the PDF (Figure 51).
