Never Modify Equipment Modification could damage equipment or cause it to operate improperly. Modified equipment could cause a safety risk to operators. Never modify equipment without approval from Alpine. Never operate modified equipment unless the modification was approved by Alpine. Never Misuse Equipment Deviating from proper use of equipment could damage equipment and seriously injure the operator. Read equipment manuals completely. Train operator properly and allow operator to access equipment manual at all times. Call Alpine Customer Service at 800-521-9790 to replace any missing or damaged manuals. Electric Shock/ Grounding Ungrounded electrical circuits create a risk for electric shock and may cause an electrical fire. Make sure to check ground cables and confirm they are attached at all times. Clothing and Jewelry Loose clothing could be caught on moving machine parts. Jewelry, including rings, should never be worn when operating equipment. Roll up loose sleeves. Tuck in shirt tails. Remove all jewelry before operating equipment. Keep Equipment Guards in Place Defeating safety systems can cause serious injuries. Avoiding safety guards could cause operator injury. Notify maintenance personnel immediately if machine guards are missing or damaged. Do not operate equipment that is missing guards. Do not, under any circumstance, reach around a machine guard while equipment is in operation. Pinch Points Moving equipment, sliding doors and clamping devices can cause pinch points for operators and maintenance staff. Be careful not to place your hands or fingers in areas labled as pinch points or near moving components that are in operation.
