35 AutoSet Plus P R O D U C T M A N U A L EN 6.7. Adjusting the Liftout • The liftout adjustment is performed by tightening or loosening the castle nut on both pivots. The objective is to minimize the side to side movement of the arms that raise the skate bars. • Adjustment process: 1. Remove cotter pin. 2. Tighten castle nut until the arm cannot move. 3. Loosen the castle nut until the arm moves and a cotter pin can be installed. 4. Install the cotter pin (use a new cotter pin every time an adjustment is made). 1 4 3 4 2 1 Cotter Pin 2 Castle Nut 3 Thrust Washer 4 Standard Washer NOTE The thrust washer (APN: 39737) is a wear item and should be replaced if it gets less than 1/16" thick. 6.6. Alpine Computer Maintenance 6.6.1. Remove and replace C-Fast Card Use a T1O size Torx bit to remove the front cover plate from the top of the computer. Front cover plate removal points. Locate the C-Fast card slot. Push in on C-Fast card and release to remove existing card (if present). Insert the new C-Fast Card. Replace cover after inserting the new C-Fast card. 6.6.2. C-Fast Card Storage C-Fast cards not in the computer need to be stored in a clean and dry location.
