MMTH MMTH-2 MULTIPLE MEDIUM TRUSS HANGERS Design Features… a multiple truss connection which is a single, non-welded formation for use with medium to high load capacity hangers. Material… 12 ga. galvanized steel. Installation… all multiple members must be fastened together to act as a single unit. • Distribute 40% of total load to each hip member and 20% to the jack for terminal installation. • Distribute 75% of the total load to the hip member and 25% to the jack for left or right- hand hip installation. • Use 10d x 1 1 ⁄2" nails with 0.67 of the design loads. • For code-required minimum nail penetration, attach to a double girder truss.
