Designer's information may be relied on by Alpine Construction Hardware without it engaging in any independent verification of its completeness and/or accuracy. 4. Alpine Construction Hardware shall rely solely on the Designer's information to determine the allowable design load for the wood members forming the connections. The information supplied by the Designer to Alpine must evaluate and include all wood members for shear, tension and other structural capacities to ensure the metal connector load can be appropriately carried within all governing standards, codes, design criteria and guidelines. 5. Allowable load tables are based on Allowable Stress Design (ASD) and consider load duration factors in accordance with the current National Design Specification for Wood Construction (NDS). The National Design Specification for Wood Construction can be found at 6.
