NEWS RELEASE For additional information, contact: Kristin Ludwig 224-661-8812 • kludwig@alpineitw.com ALPINE ANNOUNCES CHRISTIAN CHAPPEL AS NEW DIRECTOR OF STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING Glenview, IL, November 16, 2016 – Alpine is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Chappell as Director of Structural Engineering. Christian will be following in the footsteps of long-time director Dave Brakeman, who will be retiring later this year. In his new role, Christian will provide leadership and direction to the Structural Engineering groups within Alpine which will be critical to ensuring Alpine's best-in- class position in the building components industry. Christian will officially transfer to his new role on January 1, 2017. Christian, who currently holds the role of Chief Engineer for the Sacramento, CA office, has more than 30 years of service with Alpine. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno and acts as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the TPI-Truss Plate Institute. "In the rich history of Alpine, Christian will be only the fourth individual to lead our Structural Engineering organization.
