Instructions to use Move Collar Tie tool.
1. SelecttheMoveCollarTieoption(Figure-1)ifyourintentionistomovetheCollarTie.Whenyou
clickthecursoronthetrussscreen,onlytheCollarTiechangescolorfromBluetoRedtoverify
itsselection(Figure-3).

2. Thepromptatthebottomofthescreennowinstructsyouto:Enterthedistancetomoveorclicka
pointtomovefrom;therefore,yourresponsetothisinstructionmaybeappliedinoneoftwoways:
a. Enter a distance to move.
Typethedistanceand/ordirectiontomove,intotheinputfield.Thedistanceisspecified
usingtypicalFt-In-Sx, In-Sx, ordecimal ft. values; andthedirectionis specifiedusing
typicalU,D,L,R(i.e.U=Up,D=Down,L=Left,R=Right)input.Ifyouwanttomove
theopeningtotheright 2' andup1', forexample, type2 R 1 U intotheinput fieldand
click.Theopeningisimmediatelymoved.
b. Click a point to move from.
Usingthemouse,singleleftbuttonclickthecursoronanexistingopeningpointlocation.
Once done, the prompt instructs you to: Click the point to move to; therefore, single left
mousebuttonclick thecursoronthepoint locationwhereyouwant theopeningmoved
to.Oncethemovetolocationisclicked,theopeningisimmediatelymoved.
Note:Thefunctionalitydescribedforstep2bmayonlybeusedwhenmovingtheopening
LeftorRight.IftheopeningneedstomoveUporDown,followtheinstructionsdescribed
instep#2a.
3. AftertheopeningismovedtheMoveOpeningfunctionalityisreadyagainforyoutoselect
anotheropeningtomove.PresstheEsckeyonthekeyboard,oractivateadifferenttooltoturn
offtheMoveOpeningfunction.
