Instructions for the use of Component Match. WhentheJobDesignertoolbarisactivated,apromptatthebottomofthescreeninstructsyouto:SelectTrussesto Design.SinceyourintentionistouseComponentMatch,theselectionofcomponentsinthelayoutisforthepur- pose of determining if matching components already exist in the Component Catalog. As noted above, make sureyouhaveselectedthedesiredsettingsfortheComponentMatchPreferencespriortoactivatingComponent Match. l When the "Limit results to last # saved Component(s)" field is set to a value of 2 to a max. of 5. Whenyouwishtoapprovepotentialmatches, set theLimit results tolast #savedComponent(s)setting toavalueof 2, 3, 4, or5, dependingonhow many results youwant returned. Onceverified, usethefol- lowinginstructions: 1. SinceapromptatthebottomoftheJobDesignerscreeninstructsyouto:SelectTrussestoDesign, youmaymakeyourselectionusingoneoftwomethods: a. Singleleftmouseclickonthecomponentsinthelayoutthatyouwantcomparedusing theComponentMatch,or... b. Don'tselectanycomponentsandjustclicktheComponentMatchicon .Aprompt isreturned(Figure-4)toinformyouthatNoTrusseshavebeenselected...;therefore, clickthebuttonlabeledYestocontinueinordertoselectALLofthetrussesinthelayout.
