ComponentMatchPreferences The Component Match Preferences tool (Figure-1), located in the Tools menu of iCommand, enables you to setupthepreferredmatchsettings forcomponents andmaterials savedintheComponent Catalogwhenusing theComponentMatch tooliniModeland/oriDesign. Note: The Catalog Match / Project Combine Results section in Figure-1 is also used by the Master Combine TrusstoolontheJobDesignertoolbariniModel. The toggle options in the Catalog Match Options panel (Figure-1) specify how exact or loose matched trusseswillbewhenusingtheComponentMatchtool.Althoughyoumayselectanycombinationofindi- vidual toggleoptions youdesirebasedontheoption(s)youwant most closely matched, therearesome operationaldetailsyoushouldunderstand: o WhentheAnalysisandPlatingoptionisselected (i.e.turnedOn),thesoftwareautomatically selectsalloftheothertoggleoptionsintheCatalogMatchPreferencespanel(i.e.Loading, InteriorBearingLocations,ExteriorBearingLocations,Overhangs,andSY42Web Configuration).ThisoccursbecausetheAnalysisandPlatingoptionrequiresallotherproperties beselectedinordertobecomparedandproduceexactmatches. o Assoonasanyofthetoggleoptionsinthispanelareunselected ,thesoftwareautomatically unselects(i.e.turnsOff)theAnalysisandPlatingandLoadingtoggleoptions,producinglessthan exactmatches.
