VISIONREZ™ 2017 FOR REVIT UPDATES ARE NOW AVAILABLE

Grand Prairie, TX. November 1, 2016 – Alpine, a leading North American supplier of products
and services for the architectural drafting, building and component manufacturing industry, has
announced the most recent release of VisionREZ™ 2017 for Revit
®
. This is the fifth release of a
VisionREZ software product designed specifically for the Revit platform. Specific enhancements
to boost productivity in the Architecture, Structure and Options Management modules have
been developed. An industry painpoint has been solved with the addition of support for floating
network licensing. This functionality allows resource flexibility for design professionals in a
network environment.
The VisionREZ Architecture module gives design professionals more flexibility in designing and
editing complex residential roof styles. Automated roof transitions and automated dimensioning
tools create design efficiencies for the user.
The VisionREZ Design Options module allows production builders to better control design
options and successfully manage complex option combinations. The end result is a more
efficient method to manage master plansets and generate lot-specific construction documents.
New to this release is the ability to import option combinations from existing projects when
setting up new plans. A new Delta Quantity Takeoff solution generates Add/Deduct comparison
reports between a base plan and multiple option combinations.
