Use the following formula to calculate the PLF from the 1'0" overhang (the overhang span is not divided by 2 because there is no other support, so the full load is supported by the knee wall): ( ℎ ℎ )( + ) = ( 1 )( 32 ) = 32 Follow the same steps above the load from the overhang is applied to the top chord of the truss.
