18 AutoSet C4 ™ P R O D U C T M A N U A L EN Step 2. Turn the jack bolts to move the guide wheel housing until it is contacting the frame within 1/32nd of an inch. Step 3. Verify the jack bolts are contacting the housing plate. Step 4. Tighten the two bolts holding the housing to the frame. Step 5. Tighten the jam nuts. 6.3. Energy Chain Mounting The L-Bracket on the gantry end of the Energy Chain must be mounted at approximately 15 degrees and ride just above the trough (Figure 32). The rst three links of the chain are reversed to allow for smooth pushing and pulling of the Energy Chain as the gantry head moves. Strain Relief Fingers Figure 33 Step 6. Make nal adjustments to ensure the motor mounting plate is level with the gantry cover. This is best checked by measuring the distance between the gantry cover and the motor mounting plate at each corner. The height should be the same at each corner. Step 7. Tighten the nuts on each corner of the motor mounting plate. 6.2. Guide Wheel Adjustment Guide wheels are located at the bottom four corners of the EasyRider Gantry (Figure 30). The guide wheels roll against the table frame as the gantry head moves. The maximum allowable gap between the gantry head and the frame is 1/32nd of an inch.
