3.1. Customer Tasks:
For any SmartView System
1. TV purchase and mounting.
a. Any 1080p TV or projector system with HDMI
input will work with SmartView.
b. Provide safe overhead mounting of the TV and
its accessories.
c. Daisy chaining additional TVs to the SmartView
computer is acceptable but will require the
purchase of an HDMI splitter and/or extender.
NOTE: HDMI is limited to a maximum length
of 50ft.
2. Network and power wiring.
a. Wire each TV for 110V power and with an
Ethernet cable to connect to the shop network.
Mount the SmartView computer behind each
TV.
b. Any TV, which is daisy chained and is receiving
its picture from the primary TV, does not need
an Ethernet connection. Instead it will need the
HDMI signal from the splitter.
3. Power up and testing.
a. Connect the supplied SmartView computer to
the 5V micro USB power supply.
b. Connect the customer supplied TV HDMI cable
to the HDMI output port on the SmartView
