VISIONREZ 2017 FOR REVIT / PAGE 2 New features and enhancements to the VisionREZ Architecture module give design professionals more flexibility in designing and editing complex residential roof styles, including Dutch gables. The new Box/Bay Window Tool quickly adds a pop-out box, bay and bow window to any existing wall in just a few seconds. The VisionREZ Structure module offers new productivity tools that harness the power of Revit groups to assist designers working on multi-unit-type projects, such as multi-family residences, hotels, assisted living facilities, etc. Features include the ability to mirror and rotate a unit group based on a user-defined insertion point. Finally, the automated VisionREZ Navisworks Plugin is now available for Navisworks 2017, providing a faster and more efficient way to create material takeoffs using the Naviswork Quantity Takeoff (QTO) system. "The 2017 VisionREZ Design Options module has been enhanced to better manage the geometry and annotations for a project's options," said Cathrine Hill, VisionREZ architect/BIM application engineer. "This provides the means to maintain construction documentation in a single project with multiple options, as well as generate consistent and accurate lot specific models and documents. The ability to import option data from an external file has increased productivity time, as well as the consistency of option data across multiple projects. All of the VisionREZ Design Options tools can now be used in any Revit template or project." - more -
