CAUTION If the table is not level contact Alpine Equipment Technical Support before adjusting the leveling legs. • If necessary, adjust the leveling legs (Figure 40). Jam Nuts Center Support Leg Figure 40 • Tighten Center Support Leg to stien the table. • Check the gearbox uid level. NOTE The gearbox is filled with oil and does not require changing. However, the oil level should be checked yearly. • For US Motors CBN Gearboxes use Mobil SHC629 synthetic gear oil. • Fr Dodge Quantis Gearboxes use Mobilgear 630 mineral oil. Step 5. Loosen the Jack Bolts and tighten the bolts on the bearing (Figure 39). Step 6. Re-tension the drive chain (Section 6.1) Step 7. Replace all covers. Step 8. Perform another test press to verify 100% embedment on the top plate and 50% on the bottom plate. 6.7. Monthly Maintenance • Check the drive chain tension and adjust as needed (Section 6.1). • Lubricate the drive chain using a roller chain lubricant. 6.8. Quarterly Maintenance • Remove the bearing cover and grease the roll bearings at each end of the gantry head using two pumps of NLGI Grade 2 grease. • Grease bearings on AutoSet C4 rods. • Check the roll conveyor belts for tension and wear. A worn belt will look shiny. Adjust the belt tensioner if the belt is slipping.
