Check that three LED lights are illuminated on the safety relay module. Return all E-Stop switches to operating condition, pulling then out and then press the blade reset button. If the relays are not illuminated contact Alpine Equipment Customer Service for further assistance. Thermistor overheating (see warnings below) Read WARNINGS and NOTE below. Call Alpine Equipment Customer Service for further assistance with this issue. Additionally, see the warning notes below regarding this issue. ! WARNING Resistor overheating is extremely rare under normal operating conditions. The primary cause for resistor overheating is that due to the line voltage being high at the saw. This is a VERY SERIOUS condition that must be corrected. The location of the regeneration resistors is shown in Figure 172. ! WARNING DO NOT attempt to "hot wire" around the thermistors. This WILL DESTROY very expensive electronic components in the motion control system, run the risk of starting an electrical fire, and void the warranty on the saw. NOTE Special equipment is required to correct overvoltage conditions. Each overvoltage situation must be individually evaluated to properly specify the necessary equipment. Call Alpine Equipment Customer Service for information about how to deal with this problem. Regeneration Resistors Figure 172
