60 ALS 4.0 P R O D U C T M A N U A L EN 5.7.4 Blade Replacement Use ONLY genuine Alpine Linear Saw replacement blades (For models H & HB, order kit #35127, and for S & SB models order kit #35128). These blades are specifically manufactured and tested to meet the unique demands of the ALS 4.0. Torque all blade fasteners to 35-40 ft-lbs. ! WARNING Use only genuine Alpine blades designed for this saw. Other blades could fail and cause serious injury or death. Kit #35 127 Torque these fasteners to 35-40 ft-lbs. ! WARNING Use the new hardware contained in the kit each time you remove the blade for any reason. The fasteners are single use. Using old fasteners to replace the blade could fail and cause serious injury or death. 5.7.3 Small Parts Conveyor NOTE The belt used on the small parts conveyor features a self-tracking belt and does not track off of guide rollers. This offers a simplified process for belt replacement and tracking as detailed in the following steps. Step 1 – Ensure tail pulleys are free of debris. Step 2 – Square tail pulleys by making slight adjustments to the tension blocks (Figure 171). Figure 171 Step 3 – Run for 15 minutes to ensure belt is tracking correctly. NOTE Perform this process on both ends of the belt.
