Figure 157 5.5 EXLAR® Actuator Maintenance ! CAUTION Alpine recommends wearing disposable Nitrile gloves when completing the actuator maintenance. The EXLAR actuator will need to be lubricated according to the maintenance interval schedule (Appendix A). To perform maintenance the actuator will need to be removed and moved to a clean location. To grease the components correctly the procedure from the EXLAR Manual Section 3.6 (I-Series Motor Mount Roller Screw Actuators Installation & Service Manual) will need to be followed. Then, the actuator can be re-installed. 5.5.1. EXLAR Actuator Belt Change Step 1 – Open the ALS 4.0 Controller tab. It can be located by looking at Figure 108 and Figure 109 located the Calibration Section of this manual. Step 2 – Select the Manual Control Tab (circled) and Disable Software Limits (arrow).
