UP moves the blade to its normal up position. DOWN moves the blade to its maximum down position. FULL causes the blade to make a full stroke down and back up like it does when cutting lumber. All these moves are performed at full system speed. 2. L1/L2 CLAMP UP/DPWN – The buttons on this panel control clamp rollers that grip the top of the board on each drive. 3. L1/L2 PUSHER IN/OUT – The buttons on this panel control the pusher fence that locates and maintains the location of the board against the back fence rollers. 4. OUTFEED – Toggle button which turns ON/OFF the powered rollers on the outfeed side of the saw. 5. SAW MOTOR and WASTE CONVEYOR – Toggle buttons turn the saw blade and the waste conveyor ON/OFF. 6. HOME SYSTEM – Button that when clicked or touched will seek the home position of all axes and then return to the rest position. 7. ENABLE/DISABLE CUTTING – Toggle button which starts/stops the cutting process. 8. ENABLE/DISABLE AXES – Toggle button which enables/disables all axes. 9. RESTART EXPRESS CONTROLLER – This button is used to restarts the motion control program. 10. EXIT – Click or touch this button to close this screen and move to other operations. each axis. Once the data in entered press the Move button to initiate the axis movement. Figure 28 ! CAUTION There is no "bounds-checking", so be careful not to move an axis into a position that will cause a wreck or a crash. 2. HOME functions – These buttons will cause a single axis to Home. Machine calibration (located in Section 4) may require homing a single axis. 3. CAL functions – Each of these buttons brings up the message shown in Figure 29. ! CAUTION Be very careful when using these functions. Serious cutting and operational problems or damage can occur if calibration is not performed correctly. Figure 29 ! CAUTION Make absolutely certain that the axis is at the stated position before clicking or touching OK.
