All of the hangers offer multiple installation methods, giving users maximum flexibility. Users can also choose from hangers with single-bucket (PHS) or double-bucket (PHD) designs. These heavy-duty hangers are specially designed to facilitate quick installation of purlins between rafters, joists or trusses in post and beam structures. They help assure a snug fit between the purlin and joist or rafter. "The new hangers provide outstanding performance and durability on the jobsite," said Pat Ryan, Alpine sales and marketing manager – Construction Hardware. "They are engineered to maximize productivity by speeding and simplifying the installation process." The PH Purlin Hanger Series features a unique design that incorporates either a placement tooth or placement nail hole to facilitate quicker and easier installation. Users can nail the hangers at either a 45- or 90-degree angle to suit the application and their specific installation preferences. - more -
