A ugust 29 was quite a memorable day in our company's history, as we formally announced the relaunch of the Alpine name for our business. The Alpine brand will also serve as the flagship brand for our innovative products and services. This iconic brand, which is nearly 50 years old, has a tremendous heritage and outstanding reputation within the industry. Focusing on the Alpine name and brand gives our business enhanced clarity, focus and momentum. We are confident that you will share our enthusiasm and quickly embrace this change. The relaunch has already generated an extremely positive response from our employees, customers and industry colleagues – several of whom commented that they have never stopped calling us Alpine anyway. While our new name and logo are two key components of our relaunch, we have been working diligently to launch a new website at www.alpineitw.com. This completely redesigned site will make it easier for visitors to find a wide variety of product information, technical details and other useful resources from a single location. In addition to its new structure and content, the site will provide a much improved navigation experience for visitors. We are also adding robust search capabilities. Although our business name has changed, our ongoing commitment to you and the industry is stronger than ever. We intend to combine the core values that have always been our hallmark – innovation, quality and service – with the many resources of ITW and a renewed focus on building lasting customer partnerships. To help remind us of that important mission, we have adopted a new tagline: Building Partnerships. This tagline reinforces our dedication to helping you grow your business and bottom line, and is the foundation for everything we do. I invite you to visit the Alpine team in booth #501 during the Building Component Manufacturers Conference, October 7-10 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our team will be glad to discuss how we can partner more effectively with you. And while you're there, don't forget to check out the many software, hardware and production equipment innovations we will be showcasing. We will also host our annual customer appreciation event for BCMC attendees on the evening of October 9. This should be our best event ever, and we promise a few surprises, so be sure not to miss it.
