In my role as ITW BCG's Software Portfolio Manager I really enjoy being able to talk
about the latest products from our team of talented programmers. So I was excited to
have this chance to provide an overview of our latest suite of software.
IntelliVIEW is a dynamic, fully integrated software solution for the layout and design of
a buildings rough framing elements. These elements include roof and floor trusses, wall
panels, precut walls, solid sawn, EWP, construction hardware, sheathing and various
ancillaries.The software is the result of the integration of two time-tested work processes
- VIEW and IntelliBuild-WallBuilder. This revolutionary program is capable of full
analysis and will generate a complete bill of materials (BOM). It includes iCommand,
a powerful component business application built expressly to manage and control the
flow of data in intelliVIEW. All intelliVIEW jobs start with
iCommand. It tracks and controls projects from quotes, to
designs, to production, to invoicing and review.
