Every day, Alpine's customers interact with Alpine employees who are integral to keeping their businesses running. While customers may speak to these people or see their names on a daily basis, they may not have a chance to meet them. Alpine wants to draw a© enŸon to the employees that are behind the scenes keeping us the reliable, funcŸoning business that our customers depend on. In this issue of Good ConnecŸons, we are spotlighŸng the Equipment Business in Grand Prairie, Texas. While every team member in the equipment group plays an important role in Alpine's success, we would like to introduce a few who's names will be familiar to our customers. These employees serve as Alpine's eyes, ears and voice, keeping our customer bond alive. Bill Bullen Service/Repair Advisor Bill has been with Alpine for 10 years. He started out working in Alpine's producŸon shop building component manufacturing equipment. ALer only 2 years, he moved into a tech support roll. Bill's shop experience allowed him to learn the intricate details require to solve equipment problems by phone. Bill enjoys the saŸsfacŸon of helping a customer. AddiŸonally, he loves puzzles and his role in Tech Support allows him to solve puzzles while helping people every day. Bill is a dog lover and a musician. When in Texas, Bill can be found at the local watering hole playing guitar with his band. Tim Lacy Material Handler III Tim has been with Alpine for 21 years. His name is found on almost all packages leaving the Grand Prairie facility. Tim takes an enormous amount of pride in his job and smiles as he says, "I keep the customers going." Tim is the last person in Alpine to touch a shipment. That means he is responsible for making sure that every package will arrive on Ÿme and undamaged. Once the package has shipped, Tim processes the paperwork for the customer invoice. We are all lucky that Tim is so dependable! When Tim is not at work he relaxes by fishing. Being in harmony with nature, in a quiet se« ng provides him with piece of mind. Dan Carlsen Engineering Manager, Equipment Dan began his career with Alpine 3 years ago. Dan was drawn to Alpine because he wanted to develop products in an organizaŸon that uŸlizes customer feedback to design products.
